Surround Yourself With Positive People – Energy Management

There comes a time in our lives when you really need to surround yourself with positive people. These are the people who will encourage you to keep going when the going gets tough. There is a great quote out there that you’ve probably heard before by Edmund Lee that goes like this: “Surround yourself with the dreamers and doers, the believers and the thinkers. But most importantly, surround yourself with those who see the greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself.” I could probably end this post with that quote right there, but lets talk a little bit more about this.

Energy Management

The idea, the thought, the belief that we become the average of the people of whom we surround ourselves with came from a very long time ago. When it you come to think about it, it has probably been around since the human kind started walking on this Earth. Now, why is it important for us as human being to surround yourself with positive people? Well, as stated in the quote above we do in fact gather some habits (good and bad) from the people who we surround ourselves with.

That means that no matter how hard you may to succeed at/in something, without the right people around you, it can become almost impossible to achieve it. People’s energy can help you reach a whole new level of awesomeness but it can also bring you a whole new level of scarcity. All of this energy comes from simply habits that people have. Aristotle once said “We are what we repeatedly do, Excellence then, it’s not an act, but a habit.”

I couldn’t agree more with Aristotle as we are nothing more than a bunch of habits. Some better than others that we have picked up from the people around us or the people that we look up to.

Surround Yourself With Positive People

This is why I decided to shot a short video today to talk about the why is important to surround yourself with positive people and also talk about the energy that we transmit to each other. Such energy can help you rise (for example) like “Leonidas  leading the 300 man of Sparta” or it can bring you all the way to the bottom of the key chain like “Azog leading the Orcs from the Hobbit Series.” Both Leonidas and Azog lead a group of people/orcs to the battle field, but they are both fighting for different causes. Although both have the same end.. death.. they are known differently as one fought for defending its land and people, while the other just simply wanted power of the land and all the people. Yeah I know, that was a total out of the blue example 😀
