Thanksgiving week * Happy Thanksgiving!
This is a pretty exciting week here in the United States. It’s Thanksgiving week! Thanksgiving is basically “an annual national holiday marked by religious observances and a traditional meal including turkey. The holiday commemorates a harvest festival celebrated by the Pilgrims in 1621, and is held in the US on the fourth Thursday in November. A similar holiday is held in Canada, usually on the second Monday in October.” at least that’s what it said on “Wikipedia“. 😀
I gotta be honest with you, I was born and raise in Guatemala so all of these holidays I know nothing about, but I always try to get the knowledge to understand what the celebration is all about.. even if that means that I have to “Google it”
I have a family of my own. My wife is 100% American so we do have a delicious Thanksgiving day and night. We tend to cook a lot here at home and sometimes we even get invited to visit my wife’s family, so we usually go there as well and get even more food. At the end of every Thanksgiving day I don’t even want to move anymore.
I wish you a very special, and happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy this day with your love ones, and try to eat as much as you can, while you still can.
Have a great day!
